Instructor Curriculum
Professional's Choice Hair Design Academy is approved to offer two cosmetology instructor programs - 1000 hour program and 500 hour program. The 1000 hour program is designed for those people who are right out of beauty school with no salon experience or those that have been out of the salon for a number of years. The 500 hour program is designed for those people who have currently worked in a salon during the past two years.
Both programs require the student instructor to be a current-licensed cosmetologist in the State of Illinois. The instructor programs provide alternative career paths in the cosmetology industry and an opportunity for profitable employment for those who want to share their knowledge and love of the profession. We offer the following instructor curriculum in accordance with the State of Illinois requirements for licensing:
